The importance of Aquaculture and latest techniques in shrimp farming

The webinar in Dept of Zoology was on 16.02.2024 at 1.30 pm. The resource person for this event was Dr Sambhu from a Saudi Arabian University. The webinar enlightened us with the importance of Aquaculture and latest techniques in shrimp farming . Use of sensors for data collection and robotic feeding etc were well explained. In this method, robotic feeders gets the data from real-time water quality monitoring and adjusts the necessary feed quantity according to the quality of the water. All this results in excellent productivity. He also explained our limitations regarding such culture in Kerala.
