Sree Narayana College for Women, Kollam has a dynamic research culture through its approved research centres. The college has two research centres (Chemistry & Physics) recognized by University of Kerala.  The centres encourage research on achieving sustainable development goals for a better future. Apart from this, active research is going on in various other departments as part of UG and PG thesis. 

The college is involving in active collaboration with research institutions of national and international reputation such as University Departments (University of Kerala), International and Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (Mahatma Gandhi University), King Abdulaziz University, KSA, Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN), Indonesia etc.
