GLOBAL FOOD FEST

The Food Fest organized by the BA History students of Sree Narayana College for Women Kollam, titled “Culinary Banquet”, showcased an exciting variety of dishes and cultural cuisines. It was held as part of their extracurricular initiatives, this event aimed to provide an authentic culinary experience for attendees while promoting teamwork and creativity among students.

Diverse Cuisine Stalls were the Highlights of the Food Fest. Kerala Cuisine, Indo-Korean Cuisine, Italian Cuisine, Chinese Cuisine, Snacks Sweet Bucket, Chayapeedika and Street Food Corner catered to tea lovers and street food enthusiasts with beverages, chips, and chaat were also the highlights of the event. The affordability of items made the event accessible to all. Each stall reflected the creativity of students with thematic decorations that complemented the cuisines offered. The students displayed excellent organizational skills in managing stalls, cooking, and serving food while maintaining high quality and hygiene standards.

The Food Fest was a resounding success, drawing in crowds from the college. It not only celebrated the culinary heritage of Kerala and international flavors but also allowed students to develop skills in event management, teamwork, and customer interaction.
